CareHub acquires three new companies: Fisioter, Braconi and Media Salutis
Growth continues for the Silver Economy Fund portfolio company active in outpatient diagnostics. The goal is to create a group generating €100 million in turnover.
CareHub today finalized, through the holding firm Brexia Med S.r.l., three new acquisitions: FISIOTER, BRACONI AND MEDIA SALUTIS. This takes the group to a total of 14 companies and 19 multi-speciality outpatient clinics in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Lombardy, Abruzzo, Umbria and Tuscany regions of Italy.
More specifically, CareHub has further bolstered its presence in Abruzzo, by securing 70% of the Fisioter S.r.l. and Se.GI. Services share capital. Instead, in Umbria it has bought 100% of Braconi ‒ a benchmark firm in imaging diagnostics ‒ and 70% of Media Salutis.
These three acquisitions go to join those made last December, when the group expanded into Lombardy, buying 90% of Washington Medical Center based in Milan, 75% of Nuova Decathlon, in Corsico, and 80% of CBF S.r.l. (Polisalute), in Cinisello Balsamo.
The drive behind the current add-ons is to accelerate the investment strategy for CareHub, which has been a Silver Economy Fund portfolio company since 2024. The aim is to create an integrated network of outpatient and multi-speciality facilities with a €100-million turnover and standing as a leader in the diagnostics sector.
CareHub expects to make further acquisitions in 2026, consolidating its presence in its regions of operation and expanding into others, generating total revenues exceeding €80 million. Its development plan also includes the arrival of a co-sponsor, which will act alongside Quadrivio Group and the fund during future acquisitions.
Silver Economy Fund ‒ the Quadrivio Group vehicle that invests in companies offering products and services for the Silver Age ‒ currently has four other companies in its portfolio: SIARE, which designs and manufactures electromedical equipment for anaesthesia and resuscitation as well as accessories for pulmonary ventilation; THE PRIVATE CLINIC, a group of cosmetic medicine and dermatology clinics based in the United Kingdom; MIR, a key player in spirometry; and BIOTEC, a leading manufacturer of devices for aesthetic medicine.
The Braconi, Media Salutis and Fisioter acquisitions were, like the other recent ones – Washington Medical Center, Nuova Decathlon and Polisalute – managed by the CareHub team, made up of Alessandro Bartucci, Gianluca Santoro, Renato Mela, Andrea Mingrone and Valentina Rossi, and by the Quadrivio Group investment team, led by Dario di Iorio, Senior Investment Manager at Silver Economy Fund.
Alessandro Binello, Group CEO of Quadrivio Group, commented on the operation: “These additional acquisitions confirm the group's Buy & Build strategy and further strengthen CareHub's presence in Italy. We continue to work towards creating a key player in the diagnostics and outpatient services segment. Our aim is to establish a large group generating €100 million in turnover.”
Gianluca Santoro and Alessandro Bartucci, Directors at Brexia Med S.r.l., added: “The Fisioter, Braconi and Media Salutis acquisitions stand as an important step in our development: we are strengthening our presence in Central Italy while continuing to build a healthcare network that is increasingly closer to people, with the aim of offering them excellent diagnostic services.”
