Experienced Capital exits Sessùn to Quadrivio Group

Experienced Capital (ECP) has sold its 42.4% stake in womenswear brand Sessùn to Quadrivio Group.

As part of the transaction, Quadrivio’s first foreign investment from its Lifestyle Fund II, Sessùn’s founder Emma François-Grasset will sell part of her stake in the brand to the Italian investor, making it the majority shareholder. François-Grasset will remain as CEO and artistic director.

ECP first invested in Sessùn in 2017 via its ECP I fund. During the investment period, the brand’s sales increased from €20m to more than €70m in 2024, according to a statement from ECP.

The France-headquartered firm currently generates 25% of its revenue from online sales, with the remainder coming from its network of more than 80 stores in 7 countries. Of the brand’s total revenue, 40% is derived from its international locations.

Sessùn plans to increase revenue to more than €130m by 2028, of which 60% will come from its international network, according to the statement.

Quadrivio and Pambianco’s Lifestyle Fund II has a fundraising target of €500m and focuses on the fashion and accessories, design and furniture, beauty and wellbeing, and food and beverage sectors.
