CareHub evaluates new acquisitions in medical clinics, devices sectors
CareHub, an Italian company developing a network of outpatient services, is looking at new add-ons in its space, Alessandro Binello, group CEO at sponsor Quadrivio Group, said.
The company, which is controlled by the private equity firm via its Silver Economy Fund, has built a pipeline of targets of interest via its internal team, with a view to pursuing one or more acquisitions in the coming months and by the end of 2026, he said.
CareHub has medical clinics on its M&A radar, as well as medical devices providers, he said. Acquisitions will help the company to both enrich its offering, while also increasing its size to reach a EUR 100m turnover threshold in 2026, he said. CareHub has double-digit EBITDA margins, he added, without elaborating.
The company, which is pursuing a 'buy-and-build' strategy, has a special focus on small and medium-sized private clinics in Italy's North East and Central regions, and those that leverage both private pay and health insurance, he said.
Preferred targets can generate around EUR 5m revenues, but CareHub could also look at targets with turnover as high as EUR 10m, Binello said.
The company expects to finance its acquisitive expansion via a mix of equity from the sponsor and debt, possibly structuring ad-hoc financing on a case-by-case basis, he said. It will also considering onboarding a new hacker alongside Quadrivio to support CareHub's fast-paced growth plans, he said without elaborating.
Quadrivio invested in CareHub in July 2024, with a view to establishing a group of outpatient clinics and developing a network ofhealthcare services in regional clusters.
The company is headquartered in Milan. Over the past year, CareHub has acquired three diagnostic centres in Italy, namely a 91 % stake in Moscardi Centro Diagnostico, a 70% stake of Fisiomedical, and in November 2025, a 100% stake in Diagnostica Moderna. In May 2025, CareHub also took over Italian medical lab Comedica.
CareHub is part of Quadrivio's Silver Economy Fund, which invests in companies that offer goods and services for the over 50s. CareHub was established in 2024 as a consolidation platform following the acquisition of Brixia Med by the fund, according to Quadrivio's website.
